Resumen: Un cadáver en la Biblioteca: Son las siete de la mañana y los Bantry al despertars se encuentran con el cadáver de una joven desconocida en su biblioteca. Ella usaba un vestido de noche y exceso de maquillaje, el cual se ha corrido por toda su cara. ¿Pero quién es ella? ¿Cómo llego hasta allí? ¿Y cual es la conexión con el cuerpo de otra chica encontrado tiempo después en el fondo de un barranco? ; Un crimen dormido: Poco tiempo después de que Gwenda se haya mudado a su nuevo hogar, empiezan a suceder hechos extraños. A pesar del esfuerzo realizado para reformar la casa, las imágenes del pasado vuelven para perturbarla: cada vez que sube las escaleras siente un terror irracional. Muerta de miedo, recurre a Jane Marple para que la ayude a evitar los fantasmas del pasado. |
